Pastor Biography

Bishop Marshall was born November 29, 1950 in Montgomery, Alabama. He is the third child of seven born to the late Mr. Charlie James Marshall, Sr. and Mrs. Lola Mae Marshall. After the death of his mother, he attended the Bethel Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Rev. H. H. Hubbard. Bishop Marshall has been in church all his life, before his mother passed, at a young age he was baptized in the Seventh -Day – Adventives Church. Later as a teenager he was baptized and became a member of the Morning Pilgrim Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Rev. H.H. Davis. During his service as a member, he was a Crusader for Christ and attended most all vacation bible schools. He was called to the ministry at the age of fifteen. In 1969, Bishop Marshall joined the U.S. Army, while in the Army in 1972 he accepted his calling to the Ministry and received the gift of the Holy Ghost. Then Joined the Bible Way Church of God in Christ under the leadership of Elder Scott. He served as the associate minister and assistant to the pastor. He was the president of the YPWW in the New Jersey’s 3rd district.

In early 1974, he heard of the Baptism in Jesus name and the teaching of the Apostolic Doctrine. He joined and help establish the Frist Church of Deliverance Apostolic. There he was ordained an Elder in April 1975 and serviced as an associate minister and assistant to the pastor and trained as an Evangelist under the leadership of Elder J. V. Porter. Later in November 1975, God called him to Join the Calvary Apostolic Temple Inc. under the Dynamic Leadership of the late Bishop Earl Eugene Everett, D. D. Bishop Marshall served as an associate minister and assistant to Bishop Everett. He was trained at the feet of Bishop Everett, attended the church seminary, and licensed as an Evangelist, while attending Burlington County Collage. Under Bishop Everett, he taught Sunday School ages 13 -17. He was the president of the PYPU, taught bible, church history, Christian doctrine, deacons and ministers. Bishop Marshall was Ordained Bishop by Bishop Everett in April 2002. He further served as Overseer of the Calvary Apostolic Temple Inc. and its churches under the leadership of Bishop Everett, D. D. for four states, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware and Maryland. While under the leadership of Bishop Everett, and serving as Overseer, he pastored three churches. Jesus First Holiness Temple lll, of Browns Mills, New Jersey, Jesus My Lord MY God Holiness Temple, Dover, Delaware and Jesus My Lord My God Holiness Temple ll, Essex, Maryland. Before the Lord took Bishop Everett home in 2006, he requested that Bishop Marshall work with Bishop now Chief Apostle Clarence Weston Sr. Ph. D. After the Lord took Bishop Everett, Bishop Marshall went in fellowship and later as an affiliated church and took the right hand of fellowship with the, The redeemed Churches of Christ Apostolic Inc. He Services under the Dynamic Leadership of Chief Apostle Clarence Weston Sr. Ph. D. Bishop Marshall received from the, The Redeemed Churches of Christ Apostolic Theological Seminary of Baltimore, Maryland, The Redeemed Bible Institute, The Degree of Master of Theology, The Degree of Doctor of Divinity and from the, The Redeemed Biblical Institute Doctor of Philosophy in Biblical Studies. Bishop Marshall was elevated to Vice Bishop by Chief Apostle Clarence Weston Sr. Ph. D. And later elevated to Co-Presiding Bishop. Bishop Marshall is pastor of Jesus My Lord My God Holiness Temple Apostolic Inc. in Montgomery, Alabama his hometown, where God called him back to.

Bishop Marshall is an anointed man of God with great faith, preaching and teaching the gospel of Jesus Christ, by the power of the Holy Ghost. To God he gives all the glory. God charged Bishop Marshall as Apostle Paul did Timothy. “I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom; Preach the word; be instant in season out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine”. ll Timothy 4: 1-2 verse (5) “But watch thou in all things endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry”. His joy is seeing people repent, being baptized in Jesus Name, fill with the Holy Ghost and living a sanctified life before the Lord Jesus Christ.
